Hi! I’m Christina Owens, M.Ed.

The moments that shape us are rarely the loud ones.

Some of life’s most honest truths happen in the in-between.

Not during the big milestones or the loud celebrations, but in the quieter spaces—the pause between decisions, the early morning stillness, or the moments when you sit down with a warm cup of tea and finally have a chance to think.

For years, those moments found their way into my journals—small reflections, questions, and observations about the experiences shaping my life.

Some of those experiences grew from a 20+ year career in education, along with certifications in coaching, fitness, and real estate. Each eventually found its way into my writing, offering something worth carrying forward—an insight, a lesson, a story.

While living life, sipping tea became a simple way to slow down and make space to read, write, think, or simply sit with whatever life happened to be serving that day.

Many of those quiet reflections eventually found their way onto the page in my debut book, A Cup of Authenticitea.

Today, I continue sharing stories, reflections, and conversations through projects built around books and letters—like A Letter Slipped Through the Pages.

Curiosity is still what guides it all.

And most days, there’s a cup of tea nearby.

What’s in a name?
“Stina” is short for Christina, and “Gene” is short for Geneva. Together, they sit in between my full name, working outward — a reminder to live authentically from the inside out. StinaGene has become a space to do just that: sharing a mix of stories, reflections, and creative experiments.

A Letter Slipped Through the Pages

Not another newsletter, a letter.

Imagine opening a letter that slips from a book, carrying a message that deserves to be seen beyond the plot.

No spoilers. Just what lingered—shared with a tea and a reflection to sit with.
