Hi! I’m Christina Owens, M.Ed.
Supporting Growth with Curiosity, Connection & Care
A seeker of life’s many discoveries with Oklahoma in my heart and Virginia beneath my feet, I carry both places as home. One grounding my beginnings, the other shaping my becoming.
I’ve lived a multi-passionate life, with chapters in education, coaching, fitness, and real estate. Each role taught me something new, but what has stayed constant is my love of reflection, connection, and the stories that help us make sense of it all.
Tea time has become my anchor — a practice of pausing, noticing, and letting discoveries steep in their own time. Whether journaling in solitude or sharing a cup with others, tea is where curiosity and conversation naturally unfold.
These days, much of my energy is poured into creative projects that blend books, letters, and reflection — from A Cup of Authenticitea to Letters Slipped Through the Books and Bookmarked Thoughts.
I hope that these spaces invite you to linger, discover something meaningful, and carry it forward into your own in-between moments.
When I’m not writing or dreaming up new ways to spark curiosity, you’ll find me sipping tea with my partner, savoring a book (listening or reading), or leaning into the small joys that make life feel rich.
Because I believe every part of our story holds meaning — and it’s often the in-between spaces that show us who we’re becoming.

What’s in a name?
“Stina” is short for Christina, and “Gene” is short for Geneva. Together, they sit in between my full name, working outward — a reminder to live authentically from the inside out. StinaGene has become a space to do just that: sharing a mix of stories, reflections, and creative experiments.
Letters Worth Sipping On
Once a month, I share a Letter Slipped Through the Pages — a note in the voice of a character from a book, paired with tea and a reflection to carry with you. Subscribe on Substack, and let these stories slip into your days like a letter left just for you.
